WHISTLEPIG WHISKEY: GOLD ‘N’ GROCER
OVERVIEW
We transformed a lower Manhattan bodega into the Golden ’N’ Grocer, a whiskey-soaked WhistlePig takeover that blended classic bodega culture with the brand’s irreverent farm charm. The experience swapped the bodega cat for a bodega pig and packed the space with playful details, including custom lotto tickets, a branded newspaper, limited-edition products, classic snack bites, and free pours from an influencer bartender playing the neighborhood bodega guy. Familiar, unexpected, and highly shareable (270k+ views), the activation turned an everyday corner store into a culturally fluent brand moment with New York edge.
